Open Business Data Fabric (OBDF) Connectivity

overview

Note: OBDF formerly known as Platform Data Sharing (PDS).

System Administrators can now seamlessly import business views from various data sources into Bizview using the OBDF Connector.

Open Business Data Fabric enables Bizview to function as both a data provider and consumer, facilitating the sharing of planning data with other ISW products like Spreadsheet Server and CDM through a connection in Angles. It also allows the retrieval of data from external sources such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365, and enables importing Business views from Angles using the OBDF connector

By connecting Bizview with Spreadsheet Server, businesses can utilize their Bizview planning data directly within Excel.

Bizview can import pre-built Business views offered by Angles and built the planning solutions.

Additionally, businesses can utilize Bizview's planning data within Angles, allowing them to create, and share rich, highly interactive operational reports and dashboards, without depending on IT.

This enhancement enables the importation of diverse Business Views from multiple ERPs (connections) within Angles. After the import process, Bizview generates a log that details which Business Views were successfully imported and provides a list of any that encountered issues during the import.
